Ezerex

Ezerex is a product made in the U.S. by a company called Atlas Operations Inc, although we could not locate either a company or a product website.

We therefore based our assessment on information about Ezerex found among other reviews.

Introduction about Ezerex

Ezerex apparently contains Yohimbe, a substance derived from the bark of a West African tree of the same name; it’s also known as ‘yohimbine’ in its clinically synthesized form.

Many male enhancement products feature Yohimbe, claiming it has been used successfully for centuries by men in the region as a treatment for erectile dysfunction.

However the FDA has identified Yohimbe as a substance of concern due to its disturbing history of causing numerous health issues, including headaches, dizziness, anxiety, insomnia, hallucinations, hypertension, seizures and renal (kidney) failure.

Product Description

In April 2010, the FDA issued a report based on their analysis of Ezerex (along with approximately 25 other male enhancement products made by Atlas Operations), which found the product(s) contained Sulfoaildenafil, a derivative of Sildenafil, the active pharmaceutical drug in prescription male enhancement products such as Viagra.

Product Claims

According to the FDA report; ‘The undeclared ingredient may pose a threat to the consumer because the interaction of the analogue with some prescription drugs (such as nitroglycerin) may lower blood pressure to dangerous levels. Consumers with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or heart disease often take other prescription drugs.  Erectile Dysfunction is a common problem in men with these conditions, and consumers may seek these types of products to enhance sexual performance.’

The use of these powerful substances are strictly regulated in the United States, and the inclusion of a prescription drug in a supposedly natural or herbal supplement is not only unsafe and unethical, but illegal.

Atlas Operations issued a voluntary recall of Ezerex following the FDA report.

Does it work?

The use of both Yohimbe and Sulfoaildenafil in Ezerex are automatic disqualifiers for legitimacy in male enhancement products.

We therefore strongly caution against the use of Ezerex as a safe or credible treatment for erectile dysfunction.
